If you need to stock up on a few essentials, or fuel up for your adventures without too much fuss, here are your handiest places.
First and foremost – the Oban Holiday Park shop is definitely your easiest bet for grabbing all the basics you might need during your stay.
If you make the trip to Kerrera (which we highly recommend) make sure you pay a visit to the Balliemore Farm Shop where you can pick up locally reared meat and other local produce including home baked delights and seriously good ice cream. Ardentrive Farm Shop has a great selection too – so stock up and you might not need so much from the supermarket!
Over in Oban town there are a number of supermarkets – you’ll find all the regular suspects including M&S, Aldi, Tesco and Lidl, so take your pick!
If you prefer something a little more local, you can grab some great goodies and foodie gifts at Taste of Argyll. With a bit of forward planning, you can bag yourself the best of local produce at the Oban Food Hub – it’s like a local farmers market, but online! Get your order in here before midnight on a Tuesday, then collect your order the following Thursday at the Rockfield Centre.
For healthy choices and suatinable shopping, head to Go Naked Veg for organic and plastic-free produce, or Millstone Wholefoods.
